Scrambled Egg Casserole

- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 lb. dried beef
- 1-2 cans mushrooms, drained or 1 C fresh
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/2 C flour
- 1 qt. milk
- pepper to taste (no salt)
- 16 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 C evaporated milk
- 1/4 C butter
Directions

1Saute bacon until almost done. Add dried beef, mushrooms, 1/4 C butter. While still hot, add flour, milk, pepper.

2In large skillet soft scramble eggs in butter.

3Butter a 3 qt. casserole.

4Put a small amount of sauce in the bottom of the casserole. Layer eggs and sauce ending with sauce on top. Sprinkle the rest of the mushrooms on top.

5Bake for 1 hour at 275 degrees.
