- 3 c light brown sugar
- 1 c water or 3/4 c water and 1/4 c light corn syrup
- 1 T vinegar
- 2 egg whites
- 1/8 t salt
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 c nut meats
Directions

1Beat egg whites and salt together until stiff.

2Cook sugar, water or water & syrup mixture along with vinegar over low heat until sugar is dissolved.

3Then cook quickly until hard ball stage, 238 degrees.

4Pour syrup mixture over eggs in a thin stream. Beat constantly until thick and creamy.

5Add vanilla and nuts.
