  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. syrup
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook syrup, water, sugar and vinegar until a hard ball will form in cold water.

    Beat egg whites with a pinch of cream of tartar.

    Add syrup slowly; add vanilla.

    Beat until creamy.

    Drop from spoon on waxed paper.
