Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 3 large onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 (8 oz.) bottles clam juice
  • 3 c. water
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 lb. haddock, in chunks
  • 1 lb. fresh scallops
  • 2 lb. shrimp
  • 1/2 lb. lobster meat
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 cans minced clams
  • 4 c. half and half or light cream
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cook bacon until crisp; set aside.

    Saute celery, onions and garlic.

    Add clam juice, water, potatoes, carrots and bay leaf. Cook 15 minutes.

    Add haddock, scallops, lobster, water, clams and half and half or cream.

    Simmer.

    Add salt, pepper and bacon.
