  • 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 2 c. chicken or fish stock
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. finely chopped carrots
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 lb. fish fillets, cut into bite size pieces
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1 c. cooked crabmeat
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams with liquid

    Saute onion in butter for 3 minutes; add stock, celery, carrots,

    Simmer gently 10 to 15 minutes.

    Remove bay leaf. Make smooth
