- 1/2 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 4 c. milk
- 16 oz. imitation crab meat
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. mace
- salt to taste
Directions

1Saute onion and garlic.

2Remove from saucepan.

3Add margarine and flour to make a pale roux.

4Slowly whisk in milk.

5Add onion mixture, crab meat and remaining seasonings.

6Cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes to blend flavors.

7Makes 4 to 6 servings. Reheats well.

8Can be frozen.

9Can be made with skim milk.

10Great with a green salad for a light dinner.
