  • 2 c. pecans, divided
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. Karo light syrup
  • 1 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar, sifted

Directions

    Chop 1 1/2 cups of nuts finely and 1/2 cup coarsely.

    Mix together margarine, syrup, flavoring and salt.

    Add powdered sugar and mix thoroughly.

    Knead well.

    Add finely chopped nuts.

    Shape mixture into 2 rolls 2 inches in diameter.

    Brush with additional syrup and roll in coarsely chopped nuts.

    Wrap roll in wax paper and then in foil.

    Refrigerate.

    Slice.
