  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together sugar and flour.

    Cook margarine, Crisco, water and cocoa together.

    Boil and pour over sugar and flour mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes in sheet cake pan.
