  • 6 to 7 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/4 c. Crisco, cut into flour
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry yeast

Directions

    Add sugar to the water, then add yeast.

    Stir until dissolved. Add yeast mixture to flour.

    Mix well and let rise until double. Punch down; make into rolls.

    Bake in a 400° oven for 20 minutes.
