- 1 pound Whole Wheat Spaghetti
- 1 cup Shredded Carrots
- 1 whole Red Bell Pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cups Scallions
- 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (or 3 Garlic Cloves)
- 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 dash Red Pepper Flakes
Directions

1Bring water to a boil in a large pot.

2Season with salt and add spaghetti.

3Cook for 8 minutes.

4With 1 minute of cooking time remaining, add the carrots to the pasta.

5Then drain and set aside.

6Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan.

7Bring the sauce to a boil and then turn heat down to low and cook for 2-3 minutes so sugar can dissolve.

8Toss the hot pasta with the sauce.

9Then add the red bell pepper and scallions.
