- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 5 Tbsp. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler.

2Beat one minute at high speed to blend; then place over boiling water and beat until mixture forms peaks when beater is raised, about 7 minutes.

3Remove from boiling water; add vanilla. Continue beating until thick enough to spread.
