Seven-Up Salad

  • 1 box lemon gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 large pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 bottle 7-Up (small bottle)
  • few drops green food coloring

Directions

    Mix the cup of boiling water with the lemon gelatin and then add the cream cheese to it, beating it into the gelatin a little at a time with the electric mixer.

    Add the pineapple, pecans, sugar, vanilla and 7-Up.

    Then add the green food coloring.

    Put this into your refrigerator and let stand.

    When it begins to set, mix it again so the pecans won't come to the top.
