- 1/2 c. mashed potato
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cake yeast
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine potato, scalded milk (cool to lukewarm) and 1 tablespoon sugar.

2Add crumbled yeast and 2 cups flour.

3Mix thoroughly.

4Add sugar, salt, shortening, eggs and 2 cups flour. Knead lightly.

5Place in a greased bowl.

6Let rise to double in size.

7Shape into 3 (1/2-inch) balls.

8Put into muffin tin.

9Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
