  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 large can chow mein noodles
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 large bag frozen mixed vegetables (16 oz.)
  • soy sauce

Directions

    Season and brown meat in skillet; drain.

    Cook rice (1 cup rice-2 cups water).

    Bring to boil, turn to low, cover and cook 20 minutes; do not rinse.

    Mix soup, mushrooms and vegetables together with meat and rice.

    Add soy sauce to taste.

    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Top with noodles and bake at 350° until bubbly. Do not cook vegetables before mixing.
