  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour in a bowl and set aside.

    Put on stove to boil: oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water.

    After this comes to a boil, add it to the flour and sugar mixture.

    Mix well.

    Then add: buttermilk, soda, beaten eggs, vanilla and cinnamon; mix well. Bake at 400° until done, 30 minutes.
