- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. margarine, cut up
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 7 1/2 to 8 c. flour
Directions

1Heat water, sugar, margarine and salt until warm.

2Pour mixture into large bowl; stir in yeast.

3Cover; let stand about 15 minutes in a warm place, until mixture is bubbly.

4Stir in 4 cups flour, beating to form a thick batter.

5Stir in 3 more cups of flour to make a soft dough.

6Knead enough remaining flour to a moderately stiff dough.

7Shape into a ball.

8Put into a greased bowl and grease top.

9Cover and let raise until double.
