  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

    Mix oleo, cocoa, Crisco and water.

    Bring to a boil.

    Pour over mixture of sugar and flour.

    Mix well, then add buttermilk, eggs, soda, vanilla and cinnamon.

    Mix well.

    Pour into greased jelly roll pan 16 x 11 1/2-inch.

    Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
