  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour in a large mixer bowl.

    Bring Crisco, cocoa, oleo and water to a boil and pour over the flour mixture. Mix well and add vanilla, cinnamon, soda, buttermilk and eggs. Mix well.

    Bake in a greased and floured pan at 350° for at least 30 minutes.
