  • 14 cup dry sherry
  • 1 cup golden raisin
  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 12 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 tart cooking apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Pour sherry over raisins in bowl; let stand 15-30 minutes.

    Place all ingredients, except salt and pepper in slow cooker; cover and cook on high until chicken is tender, about 3-4 hours.
