  • 2 lb. lean stew meat, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1/4 c. cooking sherry
  • 1/2 to 1 c. water

    Put raw meat into 2 quart casserole dish.

    Mix together remaining ingredients.

    Add to beef.

    Stir well.

    Cover.

    Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours in 325° oven.

    Serve over egg noodles or rice.
