  • 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 stick creamy Oleo
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 6 medium eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring

    Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together.

    Cream Crisco and Oleo well.

    Add sugar and cream well.

    Add eggs one at a time. Then add flour mixture with milk.

    Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
