  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ginger, nutmeg and cloves
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
