- 3 lb. beef short ribs
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 medium onions, cut in 1/4-inch slices
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Brown short ribs on all sides in oil.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Add water, bouillon cubes, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and onions.

4Cover tightly and cook slowly for 2 hours or until meat is tender.

5Measure cooking liquid and, if necessary, add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups.

6Thicken with flour for gravy.
