- 1 egg white
- 14 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix (2 layer size)
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped or 1 cup pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2In small bowl, beat egg white with vanilla and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

3In large bowl, with same beaters, mix cake mix, butter and cream cheese until a crumbly dough forms.

4Press dough into jelly roll pan.

5Spread with egg white mixture and sprinkle with walnuts.

6Bake at 375 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

7Cool completely before cutting into squares.
