- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 lb. butter (room temperature)
- 7/8 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1After measuring sifted flour, sift sugar.

2Mix with flour and sift twice.

3Blend flour and sugar mixture with softened butter with hands until butter is absorbed (about 20 minutes).

4Roll out about 3/8 to 1/2-inch thick and cut in desired shapes.

5Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 20 to 25 minutes, just until edges are light brown (325°).
