  • 1 lb. softened butter (no substitutes)
  • 1 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. cornstarch

Directions

    In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

    Combine flour and cornstarch, gradually add to creamed mixture.

    Pat into ungreased 15 x 10

    pan.

    Pierce several times with a fork.

    Bake 350° for 40 - 45 minutes or until lightly brown.

    Cut while warm.
