- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg plus lowfat milk to make 2/3 c.
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients.

2Cut in shortening with pastry blender.

3Beat egg and add in lowfat milk to 2/3 c.. Stir lightly into flour mix.

4Drop by Tbsp.

5onto 8 x 8 inch pan, making 9 biscuits.

6Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 min.

7Cut apart and remove from pan.

8Cold on rack.

9Split and serve with sliced strawberries or possibly peaches.

10Top with whipped cream.
