- 1/2 lb. fresh pork cracklins
Directions

1Put grease in bottom of skillet.

2Mix corn meal and cracklins well.

3Mix with warm water; put salt in to taste.

4Bake in iron skillet; this will make 3 large pones or 1 large cake.

5Bake in 375° oven for 1 hour or as brown as you like.

6Put grease on top.
