  • 2 (6 or 8 oz.) pkg. small, frozen, cooked shrimp
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • mayonnaise to moisten (about 2 Tbsp.)
  • salt to taste, if needed
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley (dried)

Directions

    Thaw and drain shrimp well (may press in paper towels to remove all water).

    Combine cream cheese, onion, garlic salt, hot sauce, mayonnaise and salt (if needed).

    Add shrimp and mix well. Form into a ball.

    Wrap in plastic wrap.

    Chill until ready to serve.

    Sprinkle with parsley.

    Serve with assorted crackers. Make a day ahead so flavors will blend.
