- 2 (12 ounce) bags cooked cocktail shrimp, rinsed and tails removed
- 1 celery stalk
- 1/2 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, or to taste
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay(R))
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 whole wheat English muffins
Directions

1Place shrimp in a colander and squeeze out all excess water. Transfer shrimp to a food processor and grind. Transfer to a large bowl.

2Chop celery, onion, garlic, and parsley in the food processor; add to the bowl with the shrimp. Add egg, seafood seasoning, and cayenne pepper to the bowl and mix well. Form 6 patties using your hands.

3Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties until browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Turn over and cook until browned, 3 to 5 minutes more.

4While shrimp burgers are cooking, toast English muffins. Place each burger on a toasted English muffin.
