- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 small chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of hot pepper sauce
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 c. grated American cheese
- 1/4 c. tomato juice
- 1 lb. shrimp, cooked and peeled
- 3 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Saute onion and green pepper in butter for 2 minutes.

2Stir in flour, then water.

3Stir until mixture thickens.

4Add seasonings. Add cheese and stir until melted.

5Blend in tomato juice; add shrimp and heat thoroughly, about 5 minutes.

6Serve over hot cooked rice.
