Ingredients
- 1-1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, finely chopped
- 2 medium green peppers, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1-1/2 lb. raw shrimp, cleaned
- Cooked rice
Directions

1Cook and stir in margarine the onion, green pepper, celery and garlic until onion is tender.

2Remove from heat and stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings.

3Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Add more water if needed.

4Stir in shrimp, heat to boiling.

5Cover and cook for 10 - 20 minutes or until shrimp are pink and tender. Remove bay leaf.

6Serve over rice.
