Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 12 oz. raw, cleaned shrimp
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Directions

1Cook onion, celery and garlic in hot oil until tender but not brown.

2Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings.

3Simmer, uncovered, 45 minutes.

4Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of water. Stir into sauce.

5Add shrimp and green pepper.

6Cover; simmer until done.
