Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 1 lb. shelled cooked shrimp
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced green pepper

Directions

    Saute celery, onion and garlic in salad oil.

    Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and all seasonings.

    Simmer covered for 1/2 hours. Add shrimp and green pepper.

    Cool 10 to 15 minutes (simmer). Serve over rice.

    Serves 3 to 4.
