Ingredients
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. celery
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder (optional)
- 1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 lb. cooked clean shrimp
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 1/2 lb. fresh or 1 can mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 2 drops ???
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- hot cooked rice
Directions

1Preheat electric skillet to 300°.

2Saute onions, celery, garlic and mushrooms until tender.

3Sprinkle with flour and seasonings and blend in.

4Add tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer 10 minutes.

5Add green pepper and shrimp and simmer 8 to 10 minutes more.

6Grated cheese is also added with green pepper. Heat and serve over hot rice.

7Serves 4 to 6.
