Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 chopped onions
  • 1/2 chopped bell pepper
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 stick margarine
  • liquid crab boil to taste
  • 2 cans whole tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tomato can water
  • 3 or 4 bay leaves
  • shrimp

Directions

    Saute onions, bell pepper, celery and garlic in margarine. Add crab boil, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and bay leaves. Simmer before adding shrimp; add shrimp and additional water to desired consistency.

    Cook until shrimp are tender, about 20 minutes.

    Serve over rice.
