Ingredients

  • 12 slices bacon
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2/3 c. chopped celery
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed tomato soup
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt
  • red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 lb. boiled shrimp
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • bay leaves

Directions

    Brown bacon; remove from grease.

    Saute onion, pepper and celery in bacon grease.

    Pour off grease.

    Add soup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, bay leaves and vinegar.

    Season with salt and red pepper.

    Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add shrimp. Crumble bacon over top and serve over rice.
