- 1/4 c. green pepper
- 1/2 c. onions, peeled and sliced
- butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. flour
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 c. small frozen shrimp
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- few drops Tabasco
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Brown green pepper, onions, garlic and celery in butter. Combine flour, sugar, salt and cayenne pepper.

2Add canned tomatoes, bay leaf and Tabasco.

3Simmer all 45 minutes.

4The last ten minutes, add small frozen shrimp.

5Serve over rice.
