Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 large green peppers, cut in chunks
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. celery, cut in 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 (7 oz.) can imported tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. cooked and cleaned shrimp

    Saute peppers, onions, celery and garlic in oil until tender.

    Simmer 15 minutes, stirring
