- 1 lb. shrimp
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash Tabasco
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 jar (small) mushrooms (optional)
Directions

1The shrimp may be cooked separately and added to the Creole or the shrimp may be peeled and deveined and added for the last 5 or 6 minutes while cooking the Creole.

2Another option is to saute the shrimp in butter and add just before serving.

3Whatever you choose to do, do not overcook the shrimp.
