Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. prepared horseradish
  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 3 c. hot cooked rice

Directions

    Saute onions and garlic in butter until tender.

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, horseradish, basil and oregano.

    Simmer for 20 minutes or until slightly thickened.

    Stir in shrimp and cook 10 minutes longer.

    Serve over rice.
