- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. juice from peas and tomatoes
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 2 c. peas
- 2 or 3 c. cooked shrimp
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Saute chopped onion, mushrooms and celery in 3 tablespoons bacon fat for 10 minutes.

2Add to this mixture the flour, chili powder, sugar and juice of peas and tomatoes; simmer for 15 minutes, then add and heat the remaining ingredients.

3Pour over rice.
