- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic or 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 lb. cooked and peeled shrimp
- 4 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Saute the vegetables in the oil.

2Mix in the tomato sauce and seasonings.

3Simmer 15 to 30 minutes.

4Add the shrimp and heat thoroughly.

5Serve over hot rice.
