  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can shrimp, cleaned
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 c. tomato sauce or canned tomato soup
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. onion juice or finely minced onion
  • buttered crumbs (optional)

Directions

    Melt butter; add shrimp and simmer 3 minutes.

    Add rice, cream, tomato sauce and seasoning.

    Heat to boiling.

    Place in greased casserole.

    Let stand a while before baking to improve flavor.

    A few buttered crumbs may be placed on the top.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
