- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 c. apple, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3 lb. shrimp, cleaned and cooked
- 2 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 pt. cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Add onion, apple and celery; simmer.

3Add water. Cook until chopped ingredients are tender and most of the liquid has cooked away.

4Stir in seasonings; add cream and shrimp.

5Cook gently, until cream is reduced to sauce consistency.

6Serve over rice.
