- 1 stick oleo or butter
- 1 c. flour (plain)
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped green bell pepper
- 1 c. (3 bunches) green onions, chopped (tops and onions)
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can milk
- at least 1 lb. shrimp (more if you like)
Directions

1Melt oleo in Dutch oven.

2Add flour and brown to make a dark brown roux.

3Add onions, celery, bell pepper and green onions. Let simmer for about 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.

4Add Ro-Tel, mushroom soup and milk and simmer.

5Add shrimp and simmer.

6Liquids may vary according to need.

7Also a jar of sliced mushrooms can be added or cream of celery soup may be used. According to likes and imagination.
