- 1 (6.2 oz.) pkg. Rice-A-Roni fried rice
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1/4 c. sliced green onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen pea pods, thawed
- 12 oz. frozen raw peeled shrimp, thawed or fresh shrimp
Directions

1Prepare rice as directed, simmering 15 minutes.

2Remove from skillet and set aside; keep warm.

3In same skillet, heat oil over high heat.

4Add green onions, garlic, and ginger; cook 1 minute. Add shrimp; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly until pink.

5Add chestnuts and prepared rice.

6Cook 2 minutes.

7Add pea pods and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until crisp-tender.

8Makes 6 servings.
