  • 8 ounces sweet rice
  • 12 cup coconut milk
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 -3 drops yellow food coloring
  • 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and shelled
  • green onion
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning

Directions

    Tremble (soak) sweet rice in coconut milk for one night with food coloring.

    Steam for about 30 minutes.

    Cut shrimp into small pieces and fry in a pan with salt, pepper and seafood seasoning.

    Place sweet rice on a platter in the shape of a circle.

    Place shrimp in center and garnish with green onion.
