  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 pound raw colossal shrimp, peeled, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 5 ounces presliced fresh button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • Fresh parsley, snipped (optional)

Directions

    Sprinkle the flour over the shrimp, shaking off the excess.

    In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat, swirling to coat the bottom.

    Cook the shrimp for 2 minutes.

    Turn over.

    Stir in the mushrooms and marsala.

    Increase the heat to high and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to a consistency almost like melted caramels, stirring occasionally.
