Shrimp Salad

  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 3 or 4 celery tops
  • 2 celery ribs, finely chopped
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped
  • 1 sweet pickle, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil shrimp in salty water, seasoned with the garlic and celery tops.

    Let water boil adding shrimp.

    Boil shrimp for about 15 minutes.

    Cut shrimp into 2 or 3 pieces.

    Mix thoroughly and add celery, egg, pickle and mayonnaise.

    Mix thoroughly and add salt and red pepper to taste.

    Serve with lettuce leaves or scraped out tomatoes.
